S.C.H.T.I.C.K. Score™

A full calendar is not a personality. A confident presentation is not a delivery record. The SCHTICK Score™ gives RBM’s fictional Corp Roles seven separate ratings to show what sits behind the performance.

Seven letters. Seven traits.

SCHTICK stands for Sycophancy, Confidence, Honesty, Tenacity, Influence, Capability and Killer Instinct. Each trait is rated independently from 1 to 10.

Sycophancy
High: Tells power exactly what it wants to hear.Low: Rarely flatters or agrees merely to please people in power.
Confidence
High: Projects certainty, regardless of evidence.Low: Shows little certainty and hesitates to assert a position, even when well informed.
Honesty
High: Tells the truth, even when inconvenient.Low: Withholds, distorts or avoids the truth when it is inconvenient.
Tenacity
High: Persists through resistance and setbacks.Low: Gives up or changes direction quickly when resistance or setbacks appear.
Influence
High: Uses charisma and persuasion to win people over and shape decisions, priorities and actions.Low: Has little sway over decisions or other people’s actions; struggles to win support.
Capability
High: Has the skills and judgement to deliver results.Low: Lacks the skills or judgement to deliver reliably and needs substantial help.
Killer Instinct
High: Seizes opportunities and outmanoeuvres rivals.Low: Rarely presses an advantage or pursues opportunities at a rival’s expense.

How to read the scores

Higher is not always better

A 10 in capability and a 10 in sycophancy describe very different strengths. Confidence measures projected certainty; capability measures the skills and judgement to deliver. Influence includes charisma: a charismatic individual can win people over and shape their decisions and actions. It also includes persuasion and the ability to mobilise others, with or without formal authority. Killer Instinct describes competitive drive, not physical aggression.

There is no combined total or overall winner. The interesting part is the combination: confidence can coexist with low capability, and influence can amplify either honest expertise or empty promises.

A profile, not a performance review

These are editorial ratings for fictional workplace archetypes, not a scientific personality test or an assessment of real employees. The numbers make the satire easier to compare; they do not measure anyone’s worth.

Where to find it

Each Corp Role profile has its own SCHTICK Score™. Administrators can assign or clear individual ratings in “Edit archetype.” Saving makes those ratings visible on the profile.
